About My Grumpy Captain, My Sunshine Girl
Former England captain Julian, abused by his coach, becomes suicidal. Cheerful Liana saves him; her mother Mary adopts him to help heal. Liana warms his heart, aids him against bullies, and exposes the coach's abuse. Julian secretly trains, returns to win a championship, and reveals a drug conspiracy. He regains his peak, dances with Liana at a charity ball, gives her a bluebell bracelet, and they create a healing family.
